Ruinart commissioned me to build a three-month “Ruinart in Wonderland” campaign, each month unfolding a new creative chapter of the same universe. I defined the visual strategy and artistic direction for the full project, shaping the mood, style, and conceptual framework that guided all three shoots.
STUDIO EXECUTION
The underwater work was created using a groundbreaking mounted pole system and a live audio setup that enabled real-time direction and precision while shooting beneath the surface. For the second month, I directed the scenes from a suspension bridge above the pool, shaping the compositions and movement from an elevated point of view. I photographed the full campaign while overseeing art direction, production planning, coordinating assistants, shaping the on-set workflow, and managing client communication.
CONCEPTION
A selection of early visual research and quick conceptual studies that informed the mood and structure of the campaign. These notes reveal the intuitive, exploratory phase behind the imagery, followed by an interview reflecting on the creative direction and production process.
